Sign in and manage your loan in the Upstart mobile app (iOS only)

Overview

The Upstart mobile app allows you to view and manage your funded loans and in-progress applications directly from your iPhone. From the app, you can review balances, make payments, manage AutoPay, and view account documents.

1. Download the Upstart app

The Upstart mobile app is available on iOS devices only.

Or:

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
2. Search for Upstart.
3. Tap Get to install the app.

2. Tap Log In

When you open the app, tap Log In.

An in-app browser will open with your available sign-in options.

📌 You may enable Face ID before your first login to make future sign-ins faster.

3. Choose a sign-in method

Enter the email address associated with your Upstart account.

You can then choose one of the following:

Password

• Enter your password in the Password field.
• Tap Log In.

Magic link (no password required)

• Select Log in without a password.
• A sign-in link will be sent to your email address (usually within a minute).
• Open the email on your phone and tap the link to complete sign-in.

Note: The magic link expires after 15 minutes. If you don’t receive it or the link expires, tap Resend to request a new link.

Sign in with Google or Apple

• Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
• Select the account associated with your Upstart account.
• After verification, you’ll be signed in automatically.

4. Access your App Home

After signing in, you’ll land on your App Home.

If you have multiple loans or applications, each will appear separately. You can select a loan to view its details.

From the app, you can:

• View your loan summary and balances
• Make one-time payments or manage AutoPay
• Review loan documents and notices
• Update contact details and preferences

5. Sign in with Face ID (returning users)

If you’ve previously logged in and enabled Face ID:

1. Open the Upstart app.
2. Authenticate using Face ID.

You’ll be taken directly to your App Home.

📌 You can enable or disable Face ID at any time in the app’s account settings.
